88mm Flak Cannon

The German 88 is one of the truly
outstanding weapons of World War 2. It served as an anti-tank gun,
anti-aircraft Flak gun and self propelled artillery when mounted on a motorized
chassis. Generally more accurate and of a higher velocity than similar
weapons used by the Allies, this gun earned a well deserved respect from
all who fought against it. Later the 88 portable base would also
see service as the mobile launcher for a variety of anti-aircraft missiles
such as the "Rheintochter".
