THE APOLLO SATURN REFERENCE PAGE: This excellent site contains photos, online documents and drawings of subjects concerning the Apollo moon landing project.  It includes online copies of original Apollo manuals, photo surveys (both historic and current), drawings and lists of manuals available as copies from NASA and where to get them. MY LITTLE SPACE MUSEUM: This site covers both Apollo and Soviet space efforts.  It contains detailed information about the Apollo Lunar Surface Suits, surface experiments, and the Lunar Rover vehicle.  It also contains excellent photo coverage of Russian Manned Lunar hardware including the surface suits, the lander and the N1 booster.  Site by Karl Dodenhoff.

NINFINGER PRODUCTIONS: This site is focused on model building with an emphasis on rockets, spacecraft and X-planes.  A very nice feature of this site is its extensive reviews with photos of model kits which cover these subjects.  Also included is an extensive list of photo galleries which feature the real hardware.  Site by Sven Knudson.

SPACE IN MINIATURE: This site provides details and ordering information for the authors "Space in Miniature" publication series.  These monographs provide the necessary reference material for constructing accurate models of many manned spacecraft. These booklets are reasonably priced and Mike is adding new titles on a regular basis. Site by Mike Mackowski.

A FIELD GUIDE TO AMERICAN SPACECRAFT: An extensive site covering the current locations of Apollo, Gemini, Mercury, X-15 spacecraft and more.  Extensive links to museums and photos of each subject in its current location.  A "must see" for anybody considering doing their own research in the field.  Site by Jim Gerard.

CONTACT LIGHT: A personal recollection of growing up during the height of Project Apollo.  This site has a large list of galleries of official NASA photos from each mission (large size images too!).  Includes audio clips and MPEG movies.  Another great source of reference material.  Site by Kipp Teague.

SPACECRAFT ASSEMBLY & TEST: A personal recollection of life at Grumman in Bethpage NY working in the department responsible for checkout of the Lunar Modules.  Includes photos, interviews and individual LEM patch designs.  An interesting look at life during those exciting times.  Site by Frank A. APOLLO LUNAR SURFACE JOURNAL: These pages chronicle the lunar surface exploration conducted by six pairs of American Astronauts.  It includes complete transcripts of the air-to-ground transmissions, film and audio clips.  Well worth a visit for the serious researcher.  Site by Eric M. Jones.

ENCYCLOPEDIA ASTRONAUTICA: This massive site features drawings, photos and written histories of virtually every rocket or spacecraft ever built anywhere on Earth!  I guaruntee  that you will find projects you've never even heard of here.  Something for everybody, young or old, pro or armchair grade.  Site by Mark Wade.

REALSPACE MODELS: This company produces a substantial list of resin cast model kits of manned and unmanned space subjects.  Also available from this source are the excellent plans sets by David Weeks, a must for any builder of U.S. manned spacecraft models.  Site by Glenn Johnson.

PART TIME MODELS: This small company produces resin cast models of obscure aviation and space subjects.  Also available are publications detailing these projects, illustrated with original renderings and drawings.  Site by Scott Lowther.

NEW WARE MODELS: Another small company which produces resin cast models of both U.S. and Russian spaceflight hardware.  Also available are kits for super detailing existing model kits and custom decal sheets.  Site by Tomas Kladiva.

NASA PROJECT APOLLO OFFICIAL HISTORIES: An official NASA web site devoted to Project Apollo.  Featuring photos, technical illustrations and on-line copies of official NASA histories, many of which are now out of print.  Too much data to list here, definitely go and look around for yourself.  It also links to other NASA sites about other manned space projects.  Site by NASA.

INDEX TO APOLLO MOON LANDING MISSIONS: Another official NASA site, this time devoted exclusively to the Apollo missions which actually completed lunar landings.   Photos, diagrams and mission reports.  Well organized and to the point.  Site by NASA.

NASA LEWIS RESEARCH CENTER CONTRIBUTIONS TO APOLLO: The official Lewis Research Center pages about the LRC involvement with Project Apollo.  Includes images of Apollo spacecraft wind tunnel models tested there (even the original eight-engined Saturn S1 stage).  Site by NASA LRC.
