The first B&W photo at the top of the page shows the original look of the "Foster" car when it was being used for the film "Doppleganger". The front, side and rear photos of the car were probably taken so that studio draftsmen could prepare drawings from which miniature versions would later be built for use in special effects sequences.
The bottom set of B&W images come
to us courtesy of the late great "Sci-Fi and Fantasy Models International"
magazine (number 37) and shows the car as it looked at that time (1999). The
last image shows its then-owner, Tony Read of the UK who had planned to restore
it. It is not known if the project was ever completed but Tony is a major
"UFO" fan who is also an experienced military vehicle collector/restorer.
If anyone can bring the car back from the dead, he can.
