These photos were taken during the flight of STS 7 and show both C/T vehicles. Number one was parked next to the "VAB" (Vehicle Assembly Building) near the outdoor parking area for the launch pads. Saturn V Mobile Launcher 1 (ML-1), which was used for Apollo 11, Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz, was still in its outdoor storage area near by. The number two C/T was in a fenced holding area about halfway between the VAB and the launch site itself. Further details about the C/T can be found in the NASA on-line publication "Moonport" which chronicles the building of the Kennedy Space Center.
