Outer Limits Space Stations
Web site by: Phil Broad

This space station is another handsome design originally built for "Men Into Space". It accurately reflects the aerospace industry thinking of the day about near-term space stations and is designed to rotate to provide a feeling of gravity through the effects of centrifical force. It features a variety of antennas and telescope mounts for scientific research. Forty-five years after the official start of the space race finds that we still have yet to build such a sophisticated station. The Moon Base shown here is also from "Men Into Space" and features a landing pad for transport rockets along with a sunlit domed enclosure for crew habitat. Also seen here is what appears to be a solar powered generating station from the same series.
